Our Why

Because Mama Earth needs our help.
We were inspired to create the Firecat Yoga shop because we saw a need for more earth centered and heart centered retail.
We know our consumer focused culture is likely not going anywhere anytime soon and will only continue to grow year over year.
So while we may not be able to stop the shop, what we can do is to help increase access to more sustainable products and to those that are focused on service to the greater good.
So we started this shop as a hub for lifestyle products that do better. We strive with every product addition to make this a place where you know that you can shop FOR GOOD!

Sustainability
We scour the net to find products that are stylish AND made of more sustainable materials than the norm, such as bamboo and cotton, recycled or easily recyclable materials (or both), and others, and/or were created using more sustainable processes than the industry standard.

Ethical Sourcing
Ethical sourcing is of utmost importance to us. We find out as much information about each of our products as possible in an effort to represent only goods that come from sustainable, ethical sources and supply chains. Such as crystals that are mined using environmentally responsible practices.

Giving Back
We prioritize brands that give back. Many of the brands that we represent here donate a percentage of their profits to environmental, animal welfare, social justice, health & wellbeing or other worthy causes. On top of this we also donate 10% to organizations that are making a positive difference in the world.

Most of us want the best possible organic, sustainable, ethical products for kids and our families, but how many of us are actually able to take the time it requires to find them!?
It sometimes feels like such an impossible task - raising kids is already challenging and overwhelming enough. That's exactly why we do what we do here at Firecat - we hunt for great quality long lasting items that are not only as healthy as possible for us and our precious kiddos, but also good for mama earth AND extra bonus, also of service to the greater good... we want to take the work out of finding these amazing products for you.
Our style centers around easy fits and looks that don't sacrifice your personality! Because being a Mom doesn't mean you can't still be you ♥︎
